CareFast Plus is committed to providing affordable, accessible healthcare services for the greater St. Johns community. We accept most major insurance plans. In most cases, CareFast+ fees and co-pays are substantially lower than those charged by other urgent facilities or hospital emergency rooms.
Please bring your insurance card and two forms of identification. At the time of service, patients are required to pay the urgent care co-pay as determined by their insurance carrier (usually $25 – $75). This co-pay is typically substantially less than that charged by hospital emergency departments. The following are some of the insurance plans accepted. If your insurance is not listed please call to verify acceptance.
A pre-payment deposit may be required prior to service for patients who maintain membership in High Deductible Plans. If deductible requirements have been satisfied, with verification from the insurance company, only the co-pay (determined by your insurance carrier) is required. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and cash.
As a service to our senior population, we participate with Medicare Part B. We also participate with various Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called “Part C” or “MA Plans,” that are offered by private companies. If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan or a secondary plan and your insurance card says “Medicare,” Federal law provides for you to be seen at any emergency room or qualified urgent care center.
While it is impossible to participate with every insurance plan, we strive to accommodate all patients and plans. Additional charges for procedures, labs and/or x-rays will be billed. We will bill your insurance carrier and any unpaid balance will be billed to you directly. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and cash. No personal checks are accepted.
